Fun with Nana

Nana came for an 8 day visit. It rained quite a bit, but the first day were we could see some sky we raced to the Atakule tower to get a view of our city. It was REALLY windy up there, as you can tell by these photos.

With all the rain we saw some amazing rainbows.

We are at the top of a lighthouse on the lake, Nana with the kids (except Carsten)

Below are pictures taken at the resting place of Turkey's first president, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk.

Our Home

Here are some random pictures of taken at home so you can see our pool on our terrace, how I'm decorating with beautiful Turkish plates, candles, and paintings the girls did.

Gorgeous fake flowers from Mike to Stacey

I love this plate! It was a thank you gift from some friends in Cappadocia.

Painting by Heather in the back of the shelf. Candlesticks from cousins who were in Israel.

Top shelf painting by Brianna. I just broke that big white bowl - bummer! It is no longer on the shelf. Bottom shelf holds precious tea cups and tea pot from Uzbekistan.
